Involves working alongside established scientists to design and carry out experiments, and then write reports for publications.  Scientist work independently or as team member.

 

Biological Scientist

Study living organisms and their relationship to the environment.  Perform research to gain a better understanding of fundamental life processes.

 

Research Associate

Associates carry out experiments in Research and Development under the instruction of established scientists.  Associates Will often monitor clinical trials.

 

Laboratory Technician

Perform tests and laboratory procedures under guidance of the Lab Technologist. Will often prepare specimens, manual tests, and operate automated analyzers.

 

Medical Scientist

A commercial business whose focus is to research, develop, market and/or distribute drugs, mostly in the context of healthcare.  They can deal in generic and/or brand medications.

You may work with hospitals, doctors and a wide range of medical institutions, manage and devise campaigns, or be a presence at medical conventions and trade shows.
